Lisbon… Good food and nice people.
Seems to have a culture that I really enjoy and identify with. Chill… But with high standards for excellence in stuff… Like food and other cultural stuff. Not pretentious… And really fun. Also, inexpensive. That being said a big part of my impression is because of my hosts. One guy is starting a business hosting and catering dinner parties. The guy knows food and how to make it. The other guy is the sommelier for one of Lisbons finest. So my trip happened to include vintage port, fine local cheeses, and grilled pork belly and local sardines. We also happened to actually have great conversation too… Like meaningful shit. Good people. Good food.
